A Short Bio of Shelley Stevens
"Find a job you love doing and you'll never work a day in your
life."
For the past 12 years Shelley has proved her commitment to getting
the job done as an Apache Helicopter Mechanic, both with the army
(1st Cav Fort Hood)
and as a civilian (3rd ACR Colorado and 1st Cav support).
She earned her yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do (a path she wishes to
continue) from Master
Don Bendell before volunteering to support our troops in
Kuwait.
Upon her return to Texas after a stint in Kuwait at the start of
Operation Iraqi Freedom, Shelley sought out new passions in life
and enrolled in the Smith Institute of Massage Therapy (now
Austin School of Massage Therapy) to pursue a dream she's had for
many years.
A mom of son Travis (12), she felt the need to spend more time
with her family and to pursue her dream of serving the public
directly by opening her own massage therapy business.
She brings with her the strong hands of a mechanic to help relieve
muscle aches.
